Map and Directions Your guided day on Hat Creek will begin with meeting your guide either at the Fly Shop in Redding or at Hat Creek County Park off of Highway 299 east of the town of Burney. If you will be staying in Burney, we may also be able to arrange for the guide to pick you up at your motel if it is arranged ahead of time. The Fly Shop We're just of Interstate 5. Easy
to Find. Just take the Bonnyview-Churn Creek Rd. exit at the south
end of Redding and continue a few hundred yards noth along the Churn
Creek Road freeway frontage road. Directions to Hat Creek County Park from Redding.
Take Exit#680 (Highway 299 East) toward Burney. Follow Highway
299 East for approximately 75 miles, then turn left at the Hat Creek
County Park. From Mt Shasta, take Highway 89 East to the Four Corners,
then turn left on Highway 299 East. Hat Creek County Park will be
on our left side before you cross over the creek. (Need maps for each. Map should start as far north as Mt. Shasta and include Highway 89 running to Four Corners, and run south to Redding, then follow Highway 299E through Burney. It may also want to include as far south as the headwaters of Hat Creek in Lassen Park downstream to Lake Britton, highlighting the Wild Trout Section starting at PH#2) |
