| Map and Directions Your guided day on the Pit River will begin with meeting your guide either at the Fly Shop in Redding or at the Big Bend Store (Pit Stop) in the tiny community of Big Bend. The Fly Shop We're just of Interstate 5. Easy to Find. Just take the Bonnyview-Churn Creek Rd. exit at the south end of Redding and continue a few hundred yards noth along the Churn Creek Road freeway frontage road. Pit Stop (Big Bend Store) Directions to the Big Bend Store (Pit Stop) from Interstate 5 – Take Exit # 680 (Highway 299 East) toward Burney. Follow Highway 299 East for 34.1 miles, then turn Left on Big Bend Road. Travel approximately 15 miles along Big Bend Road, until you see the store.
