Map and Directions Your guided day of Shad fishing on the Lower Sacramento River will begin with meeting your guide either at the Fly Shop in Redding or at the Woodson Bridge Boat Launch in Corning. The Fly Shop We're just of Interstate 5. Easy to Find. Just take the Bonnyview-Churn Creek Rd. exit at the south end of Redding and continue a few hundred yards noth along the Churn Creek Road freeway frontage road. Woodson Bridge State Recreation Area
The Woodson Bridge State Recreation Area is on South Avenue just three miles west of Highway 99 at Vina, or six miles east of interstate 5 at Corning. To get there from Interstate 5, take the South Avenue Exit and follow the signs to Woodson Bridge Recreation Area.
